Education

Three schools in three countries. What I am learning, what I ran, and where it is going.

Bachelor of Science in AI, with partner Illinois Institute of Technology.

    What I am learning

    Entrepreneurship and marketing

Finding a market, pricing an offer, running a go-to-market and reading a P&L. Applied to a real business every semester, not a case study.

    Technology and AI

The BS in AI track with Illinois Tech: programming, data, machine learning foundations, and how AI systems are built and shipped.

    Advanced maths and science

Calculus, linear algebra, statistics and the science courses behind the engineering side of what I build.

    • Student Representative for the Class of 2030. Gave the welcome address to the incoming cohort.
    • House lead as a first-year. Tetr runs four houses, UK style, and I lead one of them.
    • Ambassador for the school.
    • Semester capstone in India: built and ran a soy candle brand, sourcing high-quality candles and selling them in Delhi.
    • Courses taught by faculty from Ivy League schools.

One semester in, the programme has been good. I am still committed to leaving it for the Andreessen Horowitz Academy.

Due to AI, this is the perfect time to start companies that change how the world works, and I am committed to doing that.

Additional information

Basketball has been the other half of my education. I played for Valencia Basket, Don Bosco, Picken Claret and the DME national team, and represented Ireland on the U16 and U18 national teams. Five-time All-Star, Medcup MVP, and ASV Athlete of the Year 2025.

In my final year at ASV I ran an independent research project in sports analytics. Over 35 days I tested whether an AI biomechanics app improves basketball shooting beyond 4.5 metres, with nine players split across AI feedback, coaching and no feedback, three 120-shot tests each, and release and leg angles tracked throughout. The manuscript is under review at the Taylor & Francis Journal of Sports Sciences.

Outside school and work: SSI Specialty Diver, certified in Navigation and Perfect Buoyancy in 2021. Trinity College London grade in piano. Crossfader DJ certificate, and I have DJed events. Guitar. Chaired, organised and attended Model United Nations conferences.
